Usual Signs And Symptoms Of Bed Bug Bites

What are the signs of a bed bug bite? Okay on getting up after a good night's sleep you can see an indurated rash throughout your body along with itching. These are the most typical bed bug bite signs.

Prior to we discuss the symptoms let's see what the bed bug signs. These are tiny oval insects that cannot fly and belong to the insect family group Cimicidae. They have flat bodies measuring around 5 to 7 mm and are a brown orange tint. These bugs prefer mattresses and sofas as its habitat therefore the name bed bug.

You may have heard scary tales of bed bugs in hotels. The mattresses are where they hide waiting for their prey. There are parasites and nourish by sucking the blood of animals and humans and are nocturnal insects. A bite from a bed bug is far itchier than that of a mosquito bite and can only be felt at least an hour after being bitten.

Bed bugs have an anesthetic in their saliva and they can suck blood with no interruption that ultimately prevents the clotting of the blood. Bed bug bite symptoms are commonly raised rashes and present about an hour after the bite. Some people may react after a few days and some a few weeks, it will all depend upon the body's response to the toxins in the saliva of the bed bug.

Bed bug bite symptoms can manifest as a red circular bump and swells more than a mosquito bite. It takes time for the rash to disperse over the body. When these symptoms are noted then you know for sure you have been bitten by bed bugs.

Individuals that move around during their sleep are more vulnerable to been bitten. There are individuals that can even notice allergic reactions, and in some cases although rare bed bug bites may result in anaphylaxis. Should this happen seek medical care quickly.
