You should now utilize the first piece as a guide to cut out the other piece identically.
If your car has a slanted front like most cars, cut out an MDF piece to fill in the thickness of the mattress, and allow the bed to move well. You can use swivel as they can allow you to open the front when you need to make the bed. Once you are done cutting the four major parts, screw and glue them together. Drill some pilot holes to accommodate the screws. For extra stability, ensure that the front and head board of your car are attached to the outside edges of the long pieces.
